Halloween at work

Alex and Olie dressed for the work halloween party. They ate popcorn and pretzels, and checked out the spooky inflatables.

Playdate at the Park

Olivia and Alex met Alex's good friend Maggie at a park that was half way between us. Maggie moved to San Francisco, and Alex has known her since he was 3 months old.
Olivia is crawling through one of the play structures, while Alex and Mags giggle in the grass in the shade and reconnect. They all played hard, so when snack time came they really concentrated on their snack eating and water drinking.

Olivia Two Year Birthday

We rented a slide bouncy house for the party and here you see Alex and Olivia testing the slide before the guests arrive. I believe the no headfirst rule was optional. Then we sat down to eat birthday cake and Alex gave Olie a quick hug and pose for the cameras. The last picture shows a very happy Olivia hamming it up for the camera while her brother concentrates on putting down the cake in the background.

Ready for Halloween

Alex and Olivia were showing off their Halloween costumes today. Alex picked out his Superman costume a good 6 or 7 weeks ago, and has worn it several times a week since. Olivia had a choice between a princess and Yoda...she picked princess.

Olivia looks more like a Cinderella since she's missing typical footwear; she doesn't like wearing shoes, slippers or socks, or for that matter, diapers either.

This is Alex's second Superman venture, but not sequentially. Last year he was a horse, but ended up carrying the horse head costume around since he refused to wear it. The year before, at age 1 1/2, he was Superman for the first time.
