Great aunt -n- uncle book gifts

What a surprise to arrive home after school and work to see a package of new books to read ! Alex and Olivia immediately went and sat down to peruse them...Thanks Uncle Wayne & Aunt Sheila !

Seal Point



This past weekend we went to Seal Point, a newer restored wetlands area on the bay in San Mateo. There is a really neat bridge to cross over to an excellent play area with all sorts of new structures.

The Exploratorium


Alex and Olivia met long time friend Mags at the Exploratorium Museum in S.F. for an afternoon of fun. The three really loved the warm water feature and splashed around quite a bit. Then lunchtime and some goofing around with some pics. Olivia is caught in the last picture thinking; possibly about how the distance the balls travel is proportional the square root of the height of the ball on the ramp that calculates square roots.

Fall is in The Air


The compost is full from the end of summer yard and garden cleanup, and the tomatoes are ripe-n-red. Olivia is still in her Dora jammies goofing around, while Alex checks out the trigger release on his water gun.
